Key Responsibilities:
Prepare the pediatric operating room by sterilizing equipment and arranging surgical instruments. Assist surgeons during pediatric procedures by passing instruments, maintaining a sterile field, and anticipating surgical needs. Monitor and document patient information throughout procedures, ensuring safety and accuracy. Support the surgical team in the care and comfort of pediatric patients before, during, and after surgery. Maintain and restock supplies and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
Work Environment:
The role is based in hospital pediatric operating rooms or surgical centers equipped for pediatric procedures. This position requires attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to work with children in high-stress situations.
