Description The primary duties of the

Surgical Technicianinclude:

being prepared for and knowledgeable of the surgicalprocedure to be performed, setting up and maintaining a sterilefield, anticipate and assist surgeon as necessary, work withcirculating nurse and other members of the surgical team, maintainfamiliarity, function and proper care of all OR equipment andinstruments. Required Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree
• Surgical Techprogram.
• National Certified Surgical Technologist
• NationalBoard of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting upon hire.
• National Provider BLS
• American Heart Association upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year
• Operating Room experience.
