13 Weeks Guaranteed hours: 40 Duties Prepare operating rooms for surgery Set up surgical instruments and equipment Assist the surgical team during procedures Maintain a sterile field during surgery Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons and surgical assistants Monitor and manage surgical equipment Collect and label specimens for laboratory analysis Requirements Knowledge of medical terminology and surgical procedures Experience in an acute care or hospital setting Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred Familiarity with data collection and analysis Understanding of pediatric surgical procedures is a plus Experience in a Level II Trauma Center is advantageous
