Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a Full-Time Certified Surgical Technologist to join our Ten Mile Surgery Center in Meridian, Idaho. The Ten Mile Surgery Center is a multi-specialty outpatient surgery center offering services in orthopedics, ENT, general, gynecology and more. Alongside the variety in cases, this site features an amazing schedule with a four-day work week, and no required call, nights or holidays. •Position eligible for $7,500 Sign-On Bonus and may be eligible for Relocation Stipend•
Schedule and Benefits:
Position is scheduled for 40 hours a week Monday through Thursday from 6:30am to 5:00pm. Call, nights and weekends are not required! Day 1 Benefits – colleagues are eligible for our plans from their very first day of work.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required. Current CST certification from the NBSTSA or NCCT required. At least one (1) year experience in a health care or military medical settings required.
What You Will Do:
Provide intra-operative patient care to patients as directed by the Director of Nursing / Medical Director / Quality Committee(s). Anticipate surgeon’s needs in the use of medical supplies, instrumentation & equipment availability & readiness. Prepare case carts for surgical procedures and maintain a sterile operating room suite during procedures. Assist and/ or ensure documentation & detailed records are kept. May serve as a resource (lead), role model & / or mentor.
