$32.5K – $42.6K a year 1 day ago Qualifications Patient monitoring EKG High school diploma or GED Entry level Full Job Description Job Summary Under general supervision, performs cardiac monitoring duties for patients connected to the central telemetry monitoring system. This position provides continuous patient monitoring at the central monitoring station (CMS). Recognizes all life-threatening patterns and arrhythmias and reports these to nurse and or physician in an accurate and timely manner. Correctly connects patients to monitor system and assists in emergency and life threatening situations. Maintains accurate log of all rhythms and heart rate changes on the notification sheets. Education This classification requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience EKG monitor tech experience is desired. Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries Score of 85% on the post basic dysrhythmia exam is required.
