Up to $3,000 Sign On Bonus available based on experiencePositionSummaryA Monitor Technician is responsible for monitoring the heartrhythm pattern of patients to detect abnormal pattern variancesusing telemetry equipment. Reviews patient information to determinenormal heart rhythm pattern, current pattern, and prior variances.
Observes cardiac monitor and listens for alarms to identifyabnormal variation in heart rhythm. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum:
High SchoolDiploma or Equivalent; and Evidence of the successful completion ofa Rhythm Recognition course or evidence of the successfulcompletion of an EMT or Paramedic training recognized by the Stateof Florida for licensure as an EMT or Paramedic.
Preferred:
Inaddition to the above, completion of a 12 – lead EKG course isdesirable.
ExperiencePrevious Monitor Technician experiencepreferred.
Required Certification/Licensure/RegistrationCurrent BLSCard approved by the American Heart Association (AHA)OtherQualificationsStrong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize efficiently. Must be able to handle amulti-task environment while maintaining excellent customerservice.
