The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging using ultrasound technology. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy and medical terminology, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. The Sonographer will play a critical role in patient care, ensuring accurate imaging results that assist in diagnosis and treatment. Duties Perform sonographic examinations on patients, including but not limited to Ob/Gyn procedures. Utilize diagnostic radiology techniques to capture high-resolution images for interpretation by physicians. Maintain a thorough understanding of anatomy to ensure accurate imaging and identification of abnormalities. Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, alleviate concerns, and provide comfort during examinations. Adhere to aseptic techniques and safety protocols to ensure patient safety and prevent infection. Collaborate with medical staff to discuss findings and contribute to patient care plans. Maintain accurate records of procedures performed and ensure proper documentation in accordance with medical standards. Experience Proven experience in sonography or a related field is preferred. Strong knowledge of medical imaging techniques, anatomy, and medical terminology. Familiarity with patient care practices and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare teams. Experience in Ob/Gyn sonography is highly desirable but not mandatory.
