Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to,experience, skills, education, performance and salary range at thetime of the offer. Responsibilities Perform vascular diagnosticprocedures to detect peripheral vascular disease or obstructions.

Evaluate patient for presence of peripheral vascular disease byselecting most effective procedures within regulatory andcompliance guidelines. Perform appropriate diagnostic procedures,record patient test results and report results. Monitor patientcomfort and safety during tests, alerting physicians toabnormalities or changes in patient responses. Maintain adequatesupplies and verify all equipment is in proper working condition;report deficiencies and failures. Position patients and selectanatomic and technical parameters accurately. Ensure all activitiescomply with regulatory agency standards. Ensure prompt submissionof high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (imagequality, correct lead markers and patient data/history). Assist inmaintaining a clean, and orderly department to include procedurerooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area and anyother areas in department. Registration:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) ofhire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Associationor American Red Cross accepted. One or more of the followingrequired: Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the CardiovascularCredentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date orjob transfer date. Radiologic Technologist specializing inSonography credentialed from the American Registry of RadiologicTechnologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transferdate. Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registryfor Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hiredate or job transfer date. Sonography Tech specializing in VascularSonography credentialed from the American Registry for DiagnosticMedical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or jobtransfer date.

Education:

High School diploma equivalency with 2years of cumulative experience OR Associate’s degree/Technicaldegree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experiencerequired.
