The Ultrasonographer will play a crucial role in providing accurate diagnostic information to assist in patient care. Responsibilities Perform ultrasound examinations on patients, ensuring high-quality imaging results. Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a safe and sterile environment during procedures. Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and alleviate any concerns. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to discuss findings and contribute to patient diagnosis. Maintain accurate records of ultrasound examinations, including patient history and imaging results. Stay updated on advancements in sonography technology and techniques to enhance patient care. Adhere to safety protocols and departmental policies while performing medical imaging. Experience Proven experience in sonography, preferably in an Ob/Gyn setting. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to ultrasound imaging. Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate patient care while performing diagnostic procedures. Familiarity with medical imaging equipment and software is essential. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare teams.
