Position:
PRN Ultrasound Technologist
Preferred Shift:
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for working independently in a fast-paced outpatient imaging center, with a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of ultrasound imaging and patient care. The position requires flexibility to workday shifts. Select ultrasound equipment according to examination specifications.
Explain procedures to patients, obtain patient history, and assist patients in positioning for exams.
Use cognitive sonographic skills to identify, record, and adapt procedures based on anatomical, pathological, diagnostic information, and images.
Maintain ultrasound equipment and work areas, ensuring adequate supplies. What You’ll Need to be
Successful:
Extensive knowledge of ultrasound imaging procedures and protocols.
ARDMS certification required.
CPR certification required.
Minimum 1-year related experience.
General computer skills and PACS knowledge (preferred).
Ability to learn and adapt to new technology.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
