Winter Garden Outpatient Imaging /n/n/n /n The role you’ll contribute: /n /n/n /n Under generalsupervision performs Sonographic procedures in accordance withdepartment protocols. Actively participates in outstanding customerservice and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationshipsthat are equally respectful to all. Adheres to the AdventHealthCorporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of allapplicable local, state, and federal agencies and accreditingbodies. /n /n/n /n The value you’ll bring to the team: /n /n/n /n/n/n

• Consistently obtains the highest quality scans possible inrelation to patient body habitus and/or NPO prep status as observedby Radiologists, Ultrasound Educator, and Ultrasound Manager.

Follows proper exam protocols as outlined in department Policy andProcedure manual. /n /n

• Exhibits desire to learn and upgradeclinical skills. Maintains familiarity with new procedures. Assistswith clinical instructions and serves as a resource to lessexperienced employees. /n /n
• Completes exams in a timely manner.

Properly and consistently evaluates patient prep status andschedules exam accordingly. Communicates abnormal findings to thereading physicians and notifies the physicians of procedures to beinterpreted. Maintains a professional relationship with allcustomers. Communicates with patients and family membersappropriate to age and understanding. /n /n

• Performs a full rangeof diagnostic ultrasound procedures and operates all ultrasoundequipment in assigned department.

Rotates between multiplecampuses/US departments as needed. Learns and adapts to newtechnologies and protocols and helps develop the knowledge andcompetency of coworkers and students. Utilizes knowledge and skillto provide service to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatricpatients. /n /n/n /n/n /n The expertise and experiences you’ll needto succeed: /n /n/n /n/n /n

• Minimum qualifications : /n /n
• Graduate of Ultrasound Program /n /n
• A minimum of the followingtwo American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)specialty examinations: /n /n
• Registered Diagnostic MedicalSonographer (RDMS)
• Abdomen (AB) /n /n
• Registered DiagnosticMedical Sonographer (RDMS)
• Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) /n /n
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
• Breast /n /n
• Preferred qualifications: /n /n
