with state-of-the-art ultrasound suite. Equipment includes S10 Expert GE Voluson.
Position Requirements:
- Graduate of an Accredited Ultrasound Program
- Perform a variety of sonographic examinations in OB/GYN office including general gynecology and targeted and routine anatomy scans, BPP’s, NT’s, growth scans, Dopplers for obstetrics. Consistently producing high quality, accurate scans.
- Work closely with physicians and office staff in a team environment to provide 5 star patient customer service at all times
- Interpersonal skills are necessary to effectively interact with providers, other facility staff, patients and families when providing instructions or responding to questions or exchanging patient-related information.
- Practice safe procedures and adheres to infection control and safety guidelines at all times.
- Promote privacy and comfort for all patients including patient education regarding the exam with clear communication.
- Ensures adequate clinical history is available to correlate with the ultrasound examination. Complete appropriate documentation before / after exams.
- Must also complete necessary medical records information to include consents, billing charges, and perform quality control functions related to ultrasound equipment and supplies
- Preferred Athena Health EMR experience
