235 East Princeton St, Orlando, 32804 / will float to Orlando and Lake Nona locations as needed
The community you’ll be caring for:

• More than 800 physicians, 450 advanced practice providers, and 2,600 clinical and support staff in over 40 specialties, provide patients with a broad range of medical and surgical services.

  The role you’ll contribute:
  The Sonographer
• Women’s Specialty Care performs diagnostic sonographic imaging of fetal and maternal anatomy, urinary and gynecologic anatomy or any other diagnostic studies as deemed necessary by the physician for interpretation and/or intervention. This individual assists the Perinatologist, Urogyncologist and/or other physician specialist in patient care and procedures.

• Delivers appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures.
• Assesses the patient’s physical condition and age specific needs.
• Provides instructions that achieve patient cooperation and desired results.
• Acquires patient’s clinical history and provide accurate documentation for invasive procedures.
• Documents patient weight, blood pressure and other pertinent information depending on patient status.
• Assesses sonographic images for technical quality, proper annotation, and patient identification, ensuring that all relative anatomy is demonstrated.
  The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
  Minimum qualifications :
• High School graduate or equivalent
• 3 Years of sonographer experience, and a documented track record of leadership experience
• (S)
• ARDMS or ARRT
• Sonography
• BCLS
• Basic Life Support
• Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
• Nuchal Translucency NTQR Certified is preferred for Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographers
  Preferred qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited school of sonography
• 3 Years of experience in either obstetric and perinatal sonography, urogynecology sonography and/or other specialized diagnostic study
• A history of working with a Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist, Urogynecology and/or other specialty trained physicians in the past
