Role:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Vascular Ultrasound Technologist to support our outpatient vascular surgery clinic. This role involves both diagnostic vascular imaging and intra-procedural guidance. The ideal candidate is experienced in arterial and venous studies and is comfortable working in a procedural, physician-led outpatient setting.
Responsibilities:
Perform complete venous duplex studies , including DVT assessments Conduct venous reflux evaluations for chronic venous insufficiency Perform arterial duplex imaging of upper/lower extremities, carotid arteries, aorta, renal and mesenteric arteries Conduct pharmacologically-stimulated penile duplex ultrasounds for erectile dysfunction assessment, including intracavernosal injection and post-injection waveform analysis Provide real-time ultrasound guidance during vascular access, embolization, and stenting procedures Document findings accurately and ensure proper image archiving (DICOM) Assist with vascular lab quality assurance and IAC accreditation protocols if applicable
Qualifications:
RVT, RVS, or RDMS (vascular specialty) required Must be proficient in: Arterial duplex imaging, venous duplex imaging and penile duplex ultrasound 2+ years of experience in vascular imaging strongly preferred Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, interventional office-based lab Familiarity with IAC protocols and vascular lab documentation standards Excellent communication and professionalism in patient-facing interactions
