RESPONSIBLE FOR

Performs and leads modality daily operations and providesleadership relative to the assigned area. Promotes and advocatesimaging services by remaining abreast of the latest changes intechnology and equipment. The Lead Ultrasound Technologist ensuresaccreditations standards are maintained as well as performs avariety of tasks involving the operation of ultrasound equipmentand other equipment/devices as appropriate.

Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED

Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Programor equivalent experience according to Intersocietal AccreditationCommission (IAC).

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Must meet requirements of highest leveled Ultrasound Technologistat the assigned entity.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW

ARDMS registered and/or

RVT, RVS, RT

(S), RT(VS).

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

BLS Certified Evidence of leadership, critical problem-solving skills,prioritization, and decision-making skills. Experience in leadership of personnel. Knowledge of regulatory requirements
