Job Description:

Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams for patients, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, and vascular imaging Collaborate with physicians to assess images and provide technical support Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort Operate ultrasound equipment and maintain accurate records of patient exams Ensure all imaging equipment is well-maintained and calibrated Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including infection control and safety protocols Provide high-quality images and clear diagnostic reports for physicians

Education and Certification Requirements:

Associate’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field Active ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification required BLS certification required Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technician in a hospital or clinical setting Strong technical skills and ability to work with ultrasound equipment
