Position Summary:
Performs a wide range of ultrasound studies, procedures and Dopplers to include general, vascular, GYN and OB for pediatric and adult patients. Provides physicians with quality images for diagnostic purposes under the direction of a Radiologist. Provides optimal patient care. Contributes to a positive work atmosphere and cultivates a cooperative work environment within the department.
Position Requirements:
Associates Degree from Accredited Sonography Program or Accredited Allied Health program that is patient-care related. If new grad, official transcripts must be submitted and verified within 30 days of hire. 1 year or more of experience in Ultrasound, including clinical rotations during schooling. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to operate ultrasound equipment. Certification(s) required: Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS). Licensure(s) required: ARDMS required upon hire.
Preferred Requirements:
Bachelors degree in an accredited Sonography program. 1 year or more of experience in Ultrasound.
