Job Description
The Ultrasound Technologist performs all ultrasound techniques and examinations, abdominal scans, retroperitoneal scans, gynecologic scans, and other anatomic areas as required. He/she provides appropriate age-specific patient care to the following patient populations: infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric.
Qualifications:
A. Education 1. Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology 2. Meets the requirements for registry by the ARDMS B. Experience 1. One year minimum experience in ultrasound preferred 2. One year experience as a radiologic technologist preferred C. Licensure/Certification 1. Current ARRT registry preferred 2. Current ARDMS registry required 3. Current
