The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients, ensuring high-quality imaging while providing excellent patient care. The Sonographer will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate and timely results. Duties Perform ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, and vascular studies. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring comfort. Operate ultrasound equipment effectively to capture high-quality images. Analyze images for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed. Collaborate with physicians to discuss findings and assist in diagnosis. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment during procedures. Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques. Requirements Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent certification.
