Travel We are looking for an UltrasoundTechnologist (US Tech) for an immediate travel opening inShreveport, LA. The right US Tech must have 1 year of experience.
Read below for additional requirements. As a US Tech, you will beresponsible for the use of the ultrasound machine and ensuring thatimages are accurate and passed on to physicians for medicalinterpretation. US Techs are also responsible for the preparationof and caring for patients undergoing ultrasound testing. Tasks As a US Tech, you should be prepared to perform the followingtasks: Educate patients and/or patient’s family regarding proceduresperformed Use sonographic equipment to identify and observe the area(s)of concern Prepare the exam room for examinations and assist Radiologistswith ultrasound procedures and ultrasound-guided biopsies Report any abnormalities that require immediate attention tothe appropriate medical staff Maintain sonography equipment and report machinery failure Conduct scan tests and write reports based on the results Maintain accurate patient records Understand and use the McKesson PACS system Requirements Must have 1 year of experience. Must have
BLS, ARDMS
NationalCertification, and state-specific licensing when required. US Techsshould be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as wellas bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. US Techs must have asound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medicalterminology. Requirements•:
