  • Job Summary and Qualifications
  • + Proficient in all Ultrasound and Vascular procedures.

+ Have a thorough knowledge of all positioning techniques, technical factors and anatomical factors necessary to obtain quality images. + Assists the radiologist and or other physicians as necessary. + Maintains a good working relationship with all staff members. + Demonstrates flexibility in work schedule as required. (i.e. alternate shifts, call rotation, etc.) + Demonstrates initiative (Can work independent without need of constant supervision or direction.) + Responsible (Completes assigned tasks, duties, etc.) + Punctual (Arrives at work on time on a consistent basis.) + Dependable + Observes universal precautions and other health and safety rules of the department as well as those of the Medical Center. + Participates in continuing education essential the field and for the betterment of the patient. + Demonstrates good patient care skills. + Communicates in a positive compassionate manor to all age groups. + Able to modify job duties as necessary. + Appropriately assesses the patient’s pain and involves the patient in effective management of the pain using age appropriate interventions. + Maintain HIPPA compliance. + Maintain Imaging QA requirements.
