Mobile Sonographer 15k Sign Bonus! Mobile Xray Diagnostics, LLC Fall River, MA Mobile Xray Diagnostics (MXD) has partnered with the finest digital imaging manufacturers and software providers to provide our x-ray team with the most accurate imaging services available to service patients! In this role, you will provide mobile diagnostic services to nursing homes and healthcare facilities across Fall River, Massachusetts. THE ROLE

SONOGRAPHER

TECHNOLOGIST

)

Responsibilities:

• Sonographers arrive at a patient’s location in fully equipped company vehicles.
• Unloads portable ultrasound equipment and transports it to patient’s bedside.
• Obtains clinically diagnostic, technically competent ultrasound images.
• Uses proper patient identification and safety procedures to protect themselves and others.
• Must act with initiative and responsibility to achieve maximum imaging quality.
• Responsible for patient safety and wellbeing during examinations.
• Assist and instruct patients during examinations. . Completes and transmits ultrasound tech sheets to interpreting radiologists
• Transmits images to interpreting radiologists or cardiologists for result. Ensure that images are labeled properly and of good quality.
• Participates in quality control and quality assurance.
• Report to supervisor any equipment failures and/or malfunctions.
• Responsible for inspecting and cleaning equipment prior to use.
• Reports all patient complaints, discrepancies, and drug reactions according to QA policies.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited sonography program.
• ARDMS Certification; Vascular and General registries a plus.
• One year of experience, preferred – New Grads Welcome!
• Maintain CEU’s as required by state regulations.
• Must successfully pass a background check screening.
• Valid state-issued Driver License in good standing.
• Proficiency with technology (computers, mobile devices, etc.).
• Possess excellent communication skills, as well as strong customer service and detail-oriented skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing, reaching, and bending.
• Must be able to push and pull minimum of 50 pounds.
• Physical strength and agility to position patients for a variety of imaging examinations.
• Annual physical required by CMS regulations.
