The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and providing diagnostic evaluations to assist in the assessment of patients’ cardiac health. This role requires a strong understanding of cardiology, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a medical environment. Duties Perform echocardiograms and other sonographic procedures as directed by physicians. Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations to assess cardiac function and structure. Maintain aseptic technique during procedures to ensure patient safety. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret results and develop patient care plans. Document findings accurately in medical records using appropriate medical terminology. Stay updated on advancements in echocardiography techniques and technology. Assist in cardiac catheterization procedures as needed. Provide support in emergency medicine situations when required. Monitor patients’ telemetry data during procedures, ensuring their stability throughout. Skills Proficient in cardiology principles and practices related to echocardiography. Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to cardiac structures and functions. Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation techniques and sonography equipment. Ability to apply aseptic techniques effectively in clinical settings. Understanding of radiology principles as they relate to cardiac imaging. Competence in using medical terminology accurately within documentation and communication. Experience or knowledge in emergency medicine protocols is advantageous.
