Position Summary:

Under minimalsupervision, performs basic diagnostic ultrasound procedures, asrequested by a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgmentin providing health care services, to assist in diagnosis ortreatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly.

May be multi-credentialed in sonography. Completes establishedcompetencies for the position within designated introductoryperiod. Other related duties as assigned. Produces high qualitydiagnostic sonographs as prescribed by a licensed practitioner;assists with amnio procedure biopsies; processes and files films asneeded

Must be registered with ARDMS orARRT within 24 months of graduation (12 months of hire). BLScertified.
