Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Sonography Full Job Description Job Opportunity:

Sonographer (Weymouth, MA).

Position:

Immediately need an experienced Sonographer position for the 3+ months of the contract in MA.

Bonus Requirements:

Minimum 2+ years of recent experience. Recent Pediatric experience. Active ARDMS license. COVID Vaccinated.

BLS / CPR

Preferred.

Responsibilities :

Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, pelvic, and obstetric imaging. Prepare and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition. Explain procedures to patients to ensure their understanding and comfort during examinations. Utilize aseptic technique to maintain a clean and safe environment. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and assist in diagnosis. Maintain accurate records of patient information, imaging results, and any pertinent medical history. Stay updated on advancements in sonography technology and techniques.

Qualifications :

Proven experience in sonography with a strong understanding of medical imaging principles. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic radiology. Ability to provide excellent patient care with a focus on comfort and communication. Familiarity with Ob/Gyn procedures is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Certification from an accredited sonography program is required. Current registration or certification as a Sonographer (e.g., ARDMS or equivalent) is preferred.
