Travel Job Description As an ultrasonographer, you will useultrasound to take medical images of patients for diagnosticpurposes. Working in a hospital, outpatient center, privatepractice, imaging center or other healthcare facility, you’llprepare patients for ultrasound, operate ultrasound equipment,process images for radiologists and physicians, and handle patientrecords. You might work in a specialty such as obstetrics,emergency medicine, oncology, or cardiology.
