Job Summary:

Under minimalsupervision, performs basic diagnostic ultrasound procedures, asrequested by a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgmentin providing health care services, to assist in diagnosis ortreatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly.

May be multi-credentialed in sonography. Completes establishedcompetencies for the position within designated introductoryperiod. Other related duties as assigned. /n/n/n

JobResponsibilities:

/n/n/n Produces high quality diagnosticsonographs as prescribed by a licensed practitioner; assists withamnio procedure biopsies; processes and files films as needed/n/n/n /n/n/n

Qualifications:

Education:

Required:

Graduateof an accredited school of Diagnostic Sonography /n/n/n

Preferred:

Associate degree /n/n/n /n/n/n

Experience:

Required:

Must be registeredwith ARDMS or ARRT within 24 months of graduation (12 months ofhire).
