Work where you matter. A Brief Overview Responsible for performing transthoracic echoes and vascularultrasound exams, apply Holter and Event monitors, and perform EKGson patients of all ages as ordered. What you will do Produces accurate and efficient clinical diagnostic images asdirected by providers and/or radiologists according to establishedstandards and protocols. Initiates proper intervention to radiologist or referringprovider when test indicates immediate attention. Reviews appropriate indications for tests ordered and contactsprovider for more information when needed, reporting inappropriateindications to leadership. Provides test data in a complete and accurate format forpresentation to the reading radiologist for interpretation. Makeshard copy images as directed. Maintains established department policies, procedures,objectives, quality assessment, safety, and environment andinfection control. Assists with staff/student on-the-job training andorientation. Assists with analysis, collection and maintenance of records asrequired by department manager, Quality Improvement, JointCommission, MDH, ACR standards, OSHA guidelines or as may berequired by the facility or law. Assists medical records reconciliation of signed orders toperformed exams through daily QC. Essential Qualifications The individual must be able to work the hours specified. To performthis job successfully, an individual must be able to perform eachessential job function satisfactorily including having visualacuity adequate to perform position duties and the ability tocommunicate effectively with others, hear, understand anddistinguish speech and other sounds. Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
Associate’s or equivalent from two-year college or technicalschool; six months to one year related experience and/or training;equivalent combination of education and experience Ultrasound Technologist
- American Registry For DiagnosticMedical Sonography (ARDMS) American Registry of Diagnostic MedicalSonographer (ARDMS) or equivalent registration Upon Hire Ultrasound Technologist

Year Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
