STAFFING
is sourcing qualified Ultrasound Technologists for G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Requirements
- Certified by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) which is preferred
- Minimum of one year experience.
Duties:
- Provide diagnostic ultrasound exam services on site and on call duty at the Medical Center
- Receive patients and answering patient questions regarding exam procedures
- Technologist will also use the VISTA radiology system to process and track patient radiology exams
- Will monitor patients as needed to ensure patient safety while in the Radiology Service
- Will be required to move or help move patient from beds and wheelchairs to exam equipment for exams and perform portable exams at bed site
- Will perform some clerical duties as needed.
