Overview:
•A DG Registered Vascular Sonographer Dual Registeredis responsible for performing various vascular and diagnosticultrasound exams. This role is responsible for interpreting andanalyzing ultrasound images to provide comprehensive reports, aswell as maintaining patient records and facilitating effectivecommunication among the healthcare team. Working under directsupervision, this position is responsible for operating,maintaining and preparing ultrasound equipment and supplies forpatient testing.

Responsibilities:
•-Conducts ultrasound examinations using advanced imagingtechnology, capturing clear and detailed images to aid in accuratediagnosis, treatment planning, and monitoring patientprogress.
Interprets and analyzes ultrasound images to providecomprehensive reports for physicians and aid in timely and accuratediagnosis for appropriate patient management and improvedhealthcare outcomes.
Maintains and prepares ultrasound equipment andsupplies for patient testing to ensure optimal performance andimage quality.
Adheres to strict safety protocols during ultrasoundprocedures to minimize risks and ensure patient well-being.
Providesexcellent patient care by addressing patient concerns, explainingprocedures, and ensuring comfort throughout the imaging process toincrease patient satisfaction and cooperation.
Maintains and reviewspatient records and charts, and files test and examination resultsin chart after physician review to support efficient healthcaredelivery and facilitate effective communication among thehealthcare team.

EDUCATION
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalentGraduate of anaccredited Radiology, Imaging or related educational program and/orultrasound program•
