Overview:

A DG Registered Vascular Sonographer Dual Registeredis responsible for performing various vascular and diagnosticultrasound exams. This role is responsible for interpreting andanalyzing ultrasound images to provide comprehensive reports, aswell as maintaining patient records and facilitating effectivecommunication among the healthcare team. Working under directsupervision, this position is responsible for operating,maintaining and preparing ultrasound equipment and supplies forpatient testing. Talent Pool;

AlliedHealth Responsibilities:

Conducts ultrasound examinations usingadvanced imaging technology, capturing clear and detailed images toaid in accurate diagnosis, treatment planning, and monitoringpatient progress. Interprets and analyzes ultrasound images toprovide comprehensive reports for physicians and aid in timely andaccurate diagnosis for appropriate patient management and improvedhealthcare outcomes. Maintains and prepares ultrasound equipmentand supplies for patient testing to ensure optimal performance andimage quality. Adheres to strict safety protocols during ultrasoundprocedures to minimize risks and ensure patient well-being.

Provides excellent patient care by addressing patient concerns,explaining procedures, and ensuring comfort throughout the imagingprocess to increase patient satisfaction and cooperation. Maintainsand reviews patient records and charts, and files test andexamination results in chart after physician review to supportefficient healthcare delivery and facilitate effectivecommunication among the healthcare team. Performs other duties asassigned.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION

Required:

High School Diplomaor equivalent Graduate of an accredited Radiology, Imaging orrelated educational program and/or ultrasound program

EXPERIENCE

Required:

1 year

Required:

Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by ARDMS orRegistered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) by CCI and RegisteredDiagnostic Ultrasound Technologist by ARDMS or RegisteredUltrasound Technologist by ARRT RT(S) BLS (CPR)-American Red Crossor AHA Healthcare Provider
