We are looking for a dedicated UltrasoundTechnologist PRN like you to be a part of our team. Job Summary andQualifications The ultrasound technologist operates ultrasoundequipment to make quality images of designated portions of the bodyunder the direct order of a physician and in accordance withstandard operating procedures. Accomplishes patient care in atimely, professional, efficient, and safe manner. The ultrasoundtechnologist must be able to think and act independently and assessemergency situations accurately. Good oral and writtencommunication skills are required.

The Generalist UltrasoundTechnologist may be required to perform invasive and non-invasiveprocedures on a variety of patients, utilize sterile techniques andassist physicians as necessary throughout the Mission HealthSystem. Continuing education, learned skills and experience will beutilized. This position will function without constant supervisionto produce superior quality imaging studies.

What qualificationsyou will need:

Required Education:

Graduate of an accredited ultrasoundprogram.

Preferred Education:

Bachelor’s degree in healthcare relatedprofession.

Required License:

ARDMS or ARRT Registry in Ultrasound at timeof hire. Vascular Ultrasound Registry from either ARDMS, ARRT orCCI required upon hire. High Risk OB technologist must beregistered in OB/GYN. Must complete required CEU’s to maintaincertification. BCLS certified. RVT certified.

Preferred License:

ARDMS in multiple specialties.

Preferred Experience:

12 months previous experience inultrasound.
