PRIMARY PURPOSE

Performs vascular ultrasound studies Major Responsibilities Performs basic vascular ultrasound testing under the supervision of registered vascular sonographer. Prepares patients for exam, obtains patient history. Stocks rooms and carts with linen and supplies. Prepare preliminary reports under the guidance of a registered vascular sonographer. Check daily schedules and accuracy of orders Assists with administrative duties

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education High School Diploma or GED required Enrollment in an accredited vascular ultrasound training program required Certification / Registration / License BLS Work Experience Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Requires the ability to lift and carry 40 pounds. Frequent walking, standing, bending and pushing
