Position Summary A Diagnostic Medical Sonographer is a credentialed medicalprofessional with academic and clinical experience to providediagnostic patient care services using ultrasound and relateddiagnostic procedures. The scope of practice includes thoseprocedures, acts and processes permitted by law, for which theindividual has received education and clinical experience andcompleted ARDMS or ARRT (US) registration, which is the standard ofpractice in Ultrasound. Minimum Requirements High school or equivalent (or higher) Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)certification ARDMS or ARRT (US) registration required (physics and one specialtyexam

) or registry eligible with registration obtainedwithin 18 months of date of hire 0 years of experience as US technologist (sonographer)

Clinical Ladder Other Information Primary Shift:
