Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Outpatient Imaging is seeking ahighly motivated, enthusiastic, compassionate individual who is astrong communicator to join an energetic, patient-focused team! Operation Hours areMonday – Friday from 8:00am – 5:00pm. 40 hours/week is preferred,but we are open to alternate shifts: 3 or 4 shifts/week. Applytoday for immediate consideration. JOBSUMMARY

: Under the direction of the

Radiology Medical Director,the Sonographer:

Performs sonographic procedures at the request ofand for interpretation by a licensed independent practitioner.

Ensures services are performed in a safe environment in accordancewith established guidelines and regulatory requirements. Serves aspart of the imaging center team and seeks as well as providesfeedback for improved clinical practice.

EDUCATION

: Must be a graduate of an approved programof diagnostic sonography.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

: Mustbe registered through the American Registry of Diagnostic MedicalSonographers (RDMS) or ARRT (S). RVT certification required within3 months of employment.

SKILLS/ABILITIES

: Skill in operation ofSonography equipment as well as applicable ancillary equipment.

Ability to work independently and multitask. Ability to providedocumentation accurately and concisely. Demonstrates understandingof human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology,radiopharmacology, and medical terminology. Knowledge of computerapplications, including information and billing systems, keyboardinput, digital archiving, and retrieving of data.
