Job Summary Moses Cone Health System is seeking a highly skilled General Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week day shift assignment at its flagship facility. This role calls for a compassionate imaging professional experienced in pediatrics and general ultrasound, including OB/GYN, vascular, and small parts. Technologists will rotate backup call shifts and may float between departments based on caseload and hospital needs. Responsibilities Perform a wide range of ultrasound studies including OB (1st-3rd trimester), abdomen, vascular Dopplers, and small parts Support procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, and ultrasound-guided biopsies (soft tissue, liver, kidney, thyroid FNA) Provide imaging support across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and women’s health settings Operate GE and Siemens ultrasound units using PACS and InteleRad systems Deliver high-quality care to a diverse population: neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics
Qualifications Experience:
Minimum 2 years general ultrasound experience
Certifications:
BLS•Required ARDMS or ARRT (S)•Required
RVT, ARDMS AB/OB-GYN, ARRT S
•
Preferred Skills:
Strong pediatric scanning skills required; portables and M-Mode highly preferred
Systems:
Epic EMR (preferred), PACS, InteleRad Facility Highlights 517-bed acute care hospital Level 2 Trauma Center Dedicated Women’s & Children Center (WCC) for OB, neonate, NICU exams Daily staffing: 3 day techs, 1 night/evening tech Liver elastography (outpatient), Renal transplant, TIPPS liver
Dopplers Additional Details Call:
Backup only•required to cover if primary staff calls out

Standard federal holidays paid at 1.25x rate

Yes, as needed across connected units and outpatient center
