Echocardiographer Viason Pinehurst, NC 28374 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Echocardiographer to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and assisting in the diagnosis of cardiovascular conditions. This role requires a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, as well as proficiency in sonography techniques. The Echocardiographer will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Perform echocardiograms on patients to assess heart function and structure. Analyze ultrasound images and provide preliminary reports to physicians. Monitor and record vital signs during procedures. Ensure the proper functioning of echocardiography equipment and perform routine maintenance. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with medical standards. Collaborate with cardiologists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and treatment options. Educate patients about the echocardiogram procedure and address any concerns they may have. Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures within the Level I or Level II Trauma Center environment. Qualifications Certification as an Echocardiographer or equivalent qualification is required. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to cardiology. Proficiency in sonography techniques with experience in telemetry preferred. Familiarity with working in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center is advantageous. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction and collaboration with medical staff. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory.
