Position SummaryPerform invasive/noninvasive ultrasound procedures, doppler vascular examinations, deepabdominal studies and color-flow ultrasound as required. Assistwith performing Ultrasound guided endovenous ablations on lowerextremeties of patients with reduced blood flow.
MinimumRequirementsHigh School plus 1•2 years of formaltraining/education is required•or higher.
Registered by theAmerican Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) asRegistered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or by CardiovascularCredentialing International (CCI) as Registered VascularSonographer required.
Registered Vascular Sonographer could alsoearn ARRT through the American Registry of RadiologicTechnologists.
Valid American Heart Association Basic LifeSupport/CPR (BLS) certification required.1•3 years ambulatory orhospital setting is required.
