NC 27617 JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a Sonographer in our Duke Vascular Surgery at Brier Creek clinic located in Raleigh, NC to be an integral member of the healthcare team to provide direct and indirect care to patients.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations
Analyzes sonograms and synthesizes sonographic information to medical record.
Communicate effectively with the patient and care team
Assist with daily operations of the ultrasound department
Assist in teaching of ultrasound students, and training of new sonographer partners

JOB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Graduate or completion of program that meets eligibility requirements for registry/certification or currently holds required registry or certification.
None required beyond above education/certification requirements.
Level I – Must obtain ARDMS certifications as required by each entity within 18 months of employment.
ARDMS certification within 18 months of hire.
BLS certification
