Ultrasound Technician BOSTDIA – Bone Strength Diagnostics 244 Livingston Street, Northvale, NJ 07647 Overview This is a great opportunity for an Ultrasound Technician to work with ground breaking technology while expanding your skills, knowledge and experience. We are BOSTDIA – Bone Strength Diagnostics. We offer REMS technology, the state of the art diagnostic test in the field of Bone Density and Bone Quality. Our primary location is in Northvale, NJ, with several off sight locations where we offer Bone Health Diagnostic Testing. Help women and men to safely and effectively diagnose their bone health for guiding them to improve their bone density, avoiding Osteoporosis and lowering the risk of fractures and/or injuries. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a car, and a willingness to travel to multiple locations to offer diagnostic testing This role is crucial in providing high-quality patient care through the use of ultrasound technology for diagnostic purposes, particularly in the fields of bone health. Duties Perform ultrasound examinations on patients to assist in diagnosing bone related disease – Osteoporosis and Osteopenia. Utilize appropriate sonographic techniques to capture high-quality images for accurate interpretation. Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and alleviate concerns. Adhere to aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and maintain a sterile environment. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss findings and contribute to patient care plans. Keep accurate records of procedures performed and maintain patient confidentiality at all times. Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and best practices within the field.
Experience Candidates should have:
Training as an Ultrasonographer. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to sonography. Familiarity with aseptic techniques and patient care protocols. Proficiency in using ultrasound equipment to produce high quality diagnostic images. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
