In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures that assess vascular conditions and assist in the evaluation of patient health. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care. Duties Conduct non-invasive vascular ultrasound examinations, including Doppler studies, to assess blood flow and vascular health. Collaborate with physicians to interpret test results and provide critical information for diagnosis and treatment planning. Maintain accurate patient records, documenting procedures performed, findings, and any relevant patient history. Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and safety protocols during all procedures. Monitor patients’ vital signs during examinations and respond appropriately to any changes in condition. Assist in the preparation of patients for procedures, providing education on what to expect during the examination process. Stay updated on advancements in vascular technology and participate in continuing education opportunities as required. Requirements Certification in Sonography or a related field is preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy, particularly the vascular system, as well as familiarity with radiology principles. Proficiency in monitoring vital signs and understanding telemetry readings. Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations accurately and efficiently while maintaining a high level of patient care. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare team members.
