The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient comfort. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. Duties Conduct ultrasound examinations to assess various medical conditions, including Ob/Gyn procedures. Utilize sonography equipment to capture high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort. Maintain a thorough understanding of anatomy and physiology to accurately interpret ultrasound results. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to discuss findings and contribute to patient care plans. Adhere to aseptic techniques and safety protocols during all procedures. Keep accurate records of examinations and maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with medical regulations. Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques. Requirements Certification in Sonography from an accredited program. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic radiology. Experience in patient care with excellent communication skills. Familiarity with aseptic techniques and safety protocols in a clinical setting. Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while maintaining professionalism. Previous experience in Ob/Gyn ultrasound is highly desirable but not mandatory.
