Job Description

Overview The Ultrasonographer works under minimal supervision of the Lead Ultrasonographer or the Chief Technologist. Ultrasound studies include diagnostic, biopsy, and Automated Breast Ultrasound procedures. Works effectively with patient, radiologists, and other clinic personnel, assisting with PACS and outside image, and routes patients and/or their images appropriately. The Ultrasonographer position is a dedicated to breast studies only. A candidate with previous breast experience in mammography and/or breast ultrasonography preferred but not required. The Ultrasonographer will rotate between US sites in Bentonville, Fayetteville, and occasionally Harrison. One-On-One Training and Development:

At time of hire with MANA, you will go through detailed training to ensure you are equipped with what you need for success in our clinics How to Apply To apply for a position at any MANA Clinic, you must complete a MANA employment application. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic sonogram procedures as required: achieve a high level of image quality Be observant for film artifacts and keep them to a minimum Obtain patient history as needed Assist Chief Radiological Technologist during procedures, helping to put the patient at ease Qualifications Plus 2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience Graduation from a certified Radiological Technology Program and/or a certified Ultrasound program, RDMS certification
