Night Shift – 7.5 Hours (United States of America) Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff and the public. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations. Perform OB/GYN, vascular, neonatal, and abdominal sonograms. Obtain images according to protocols to include all pertinent patient and exam data on each film with optimal patient positioning and sonographic technique Demonstrates competence in performing all ultrasound examinations, knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy. Ensures that patient charges are properly recorded into the computer system and procedures are tracked accurately. Reads, understands and accurately implements physician’s prescriptions/orders. Thoroughly explains all procedures to patient, thus alleviating fears and/or anxiety. Prepares room for patient and exam. Assure the room is clean and equipped with the necessary supplies. Verifies name and properly identifies procedure being performed. Assist the radiologist in performing ultrasound guided procedures. Replace chemicals, films and processing equipment as needed.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED Graduate of an accredited School of Diagnostic Ultrasound. Two years experience in OB/GYN ultrasound. ARDMS-registered or successful completion of ARDMS certification within first six months of employment.

Salary Range:

$46.550/hr – $51.205/hr
