Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ultrasonographer to join our medical imaging team to provide service to our patients on Long Island (Suffolk/ Nassau County). As an Ultrasonographer, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound examinations on patients to produce high-quality images for diagnostic evaluation. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the healthcare field and make a difference in patients’

Responsibilities:

• Vascular including Echo, Carotid required
• Perform ultrasound examinations on patients using specialized equipment
• Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to alleviate any concerns or anxiety
• Position patients and equipment to obtain optimal images
• Analyze images and provide accurate diagnostic information to healthcare providers
• Collaborate with other members of the medical team to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain patient records and documentation in accordance with established protocols
• Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
• Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
• Proficient knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Experience with various ultrasound modalities including abdominal, pelvic, and vascular, cardiac, etc.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret images
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
