Assists in the daily routines of the ultrasound department. Assiststhe RN and physician in the performance of interventionalprocedures. Responsible for the coordination and ongoing evaluationof the daily schedule in fitting in add on exams. Comply with theprofessional and ethical standards of the American Association ofDiagnostic Medical Sonographers. ATTRIBUTES

Required:
Must be a graduate of anaccredited US program and be registered with ARDMS or Registryeligible. Must have current BLS.

Must be fluent inscanning all aspects of
Ultrasound:
(ie:
OB/GYN/Breast/Venous/Arterial/Abdomen/Pelvis/Softtissue/TV/Interventional procedures, etc)

Required:
Minimally 1year of US experience in a variety of US exams (OB, Venous,Arterial, Abdomen, Breast, Interventional procedures). This caninclude clinical experience obtained during US training.

Preferred:
2-3 years of experience in a variety of US exams
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide direct patient care in performingUltrasound examinations.
- Maintains departmental equipment byfollowing OEM guidelines, reporting equipment failure or concernsto departmental Manager and Biomed
- Follows P & P for infectioncontrol, universal precautions and isolation procedures whenrequired. Reports any issues to departmental Manager.

Universalcriteria:
Participates in departmental performance improvement.
Completes all required annual training and competencies.
- Demonstrates responsibility for personal professional developmentby participating in CE requirements.
- Must be able to workholidays per hospital schedule
- Must be able to work in a fastpaced environment, work independently and lift 1

10 Thelisted base pay range is a good faith representation of currentpotential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may bemodified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
