Description:
Traveler shall be scheduled in accordance withfacility policy. The traveler is expected to work every otherweekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees. The unithas an average of 35 patients daily. Staff consists of allsonographers with ARDMS and RVT. Unit is staffed 24/7 whenpositions are filled. The type of equipment used includes GE LogicE10. The documentation system utilized is Meditech.
Schedulingrequirements include:
Monday to Thursday from 2 PM to 10 PM, Fridayfrom 2 PM to 8:30 PM with a call rotation on Friday and Saturdaynights on a 4-5 week rotation. No floating policy is in place.
Patient experience requirements follow the AIDET framework.
Procedures performed on the unit include: para, thoras, thyroidbiopsies, as well as general and vascular ultrasounds.
