The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound technology to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, as well as a commitment to providing excellent patient care. Duties Perform sonographic examinations in various specialties, including Ob/Gyn, ensuring high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. Utilize appropriate techniques and equipment to capture images while adhering to safety protocols and aseptic techniques. Assess patients’ medical histories and explain procedures to ensure comfort and understanding. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to interpret results and provide accurate reports. Maintain patient records, documenting procedures performed and any relevant findings in accordance with medical standards. Stay current with advancements in sonography technology and techniques through continuous education and training. Requirements Certification in Diagnostic Radiology or Sonography from an accredited program. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical imaging, and medical terminology. Experience in patient care with a focus on providing compassionate service. Familiarity with Ob/Gyn procedures is preferred but not required. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and collaborating with healthcare teams.
