Primary Duties:
Acquires-ordered images including evaluating these images for technicalquality. Sends images to
- appropriate destinations
- forinterpretation.
- Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of workareas.
Reports any unsafe or potentially unsafe conditions.
Maintains X-ray and other equipment in efficient operating order
- Performs preventative maintenance regularly.
Obtains patienthistory, answers patient questions, and explains procedures
- Transports patients to radiographic room and prepares and-maintains
- room.
Performs radiographic examinations.
- Prepares-written
- documentation such
- as evaluation results, individualizedtreatment plans, and progress reports.
- Requests and will order-supplies.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.Registered by theAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in the State ofMaryland.
Basic Life Support (BLS).Associate degree
