This role involves working closely with pediatricians and other healthcare professionals to assess and diagnose a variety of conditions in young patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images of pediatric patients’ organs and tissues. Prepare children and families for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring patient comfort. Review patient medical histories and record imaging results accurately in patient records. Identify normal and abnormal imaging results and communicate urgent findings to physicians. Collaborate with pediatric healthcare teams to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
Work Environment:
The role is based in hospitals, pediatric clinics, or diagnostic labs equipped with advanced ultrasound technology. This position requires patience, attention to detail, and the ability to work with children and families in sensitive situations.
