Areyou looking to work daytime shifts only, with no swings orovernights? Do you want to collaborate with other specialtydepartments on treatment plans in a collegial and team-basedculture? Do you enjoy teaching students, interns, and residents? Ifso, we want to hear from you! Pieper Memorial Veterinary Center isexpanding, and we are looking for a third veterinary criticalist tojoin our Resuscitation & Critical Care (RACC) department in ourhybrid ER/Specialty hospital in Middletown, CT. Locum opportunitiesare also available! Owned and operated by veterinarians since 1937,our family of hospitals also includes four primary care hospitalsand one urgent hospital in central Connecticut. Our network ofdoctors provides a one-of-a-kind community that supports each otherand grows together. At Pieper Memorial Veterinary Center, you willjoin a collaborative team of specialists in Internal Medicine,Neurology, Surgery, Diagnostic Imaging, Avian/Exotics, and Oncologyas well as a seasoned team of primary and emergency veterinarians.

Our RACC department consists of two boarded criticalists, dedicatedtechnicians and assistants, and department-specific clientliaisons. Our state-of-the-art facility includes multipleultrasounds, wireless Fukuda Denshi telemetry, 64-slice CT, 1.5 TMRI, C-Arm with neurovascular platform, Maquet Servo-U ventilatorwith NAVA and volumetric capnography and minimally invasivesurgical equipment. As an added bonus, we enjoy an Antech referencelaboratory in the building with an on-site clinical pathologist. Weprioritize a doctor-led, medicine-first approach and are proud tooffer equity options to our veterinarians.
